A short break, to celebrate Fall in all of its varied manifestations...

We were on the sunny side of the street. For an illustration of the eclectic nature of holiday decorating in LA, scroll down to see a neighbor's yard. Viewer discretion advised. Please do not scroll down any further if you have a delicate constitution, or are in the presence of a child.

"Welcome, Trick-or-Treaters!"
Yesterday, November 4: 95 degrees
We fled to the beach.
Variety is the (pumpkin pie) spice of life!
Have a wonderful weekend, wherever you are... whatever you do...

I would love it to be sunny and 94 and a day at the beach :)
lovely!
Is Katherine's smile trending bi-coastal, as well? It certainly looks like it in that picture!!!
I cannot believe how much better Katherine's eye is looking...it has been a while since I have seen a picture of her so the change is remarkable to me. Because of your blog, I purchased a painting from your friend Mary Padgelek. I have corresponded with her, and she is delightful. I hope someday to have the opportunity to meet her and you, as well. Blessings!
I think she's looking more like her old self, too. Can't wait to see that smile again!
Corinne, I'm a bit jealous of your gorgeous cool fall. We're coming back down to the 70's today. YAY!
Mom, that is awesome. I forgot to tell Mary that I had linked her! She is an incredible person... multi-talented and sweet-spirited. You'll have to come see us in Athens one day.
Kim...Tell us a little about your west coast across the street neighbor. Different can be interesting or not.
